Special treatment of socks

Sterilization and Disinfection

White Vinegar Soak: Add a small amount of white vinegar to clean water and
soak for 15 minutes before washing. This naturally sterilizes and deodorizes,
and helps preserve color.

Hot Water Wash (Cotton Socks Only): For socks with athlete's foot, scald in
water above 60°C for 10-15 minutes to effectively kill fungi. However, this
method is only suitable for heat-resistant cotton socks and will shorten their
lifespan.

Disinfectant: Dilute according to the instructions and soak. However, be
aware that this may cause discoloration, so rinse thoroughly.

Pre-Treatment for Stubborn Stains

Before washing, wet the socks and apply collar cleaner or laundry soap to
yellowed or blackened areas, such as the toes and heels. Let sit for 5-10
minutes before washing as usual.

About Drying

Generally not recommended. High temperatures are the number one killer of
socks, causing them to shrink, lose shape, and lose elasticity.

If drying is necessary, use the lowest setting and ensure the socks are
completely turned inside out.
