Nanjing, China — September 24, 2026 — Jiangsu LongMembrane High-Tech Co., Ltd. is advancing its organic-permselective VOCs recovery membrane for industrial solvent gas treatment.
The membrane separates organic compounds from gas streams by letting organic components dissolve and diffuse through the membrane faster than other gases. Engineering data cite 5 times concentration and 10 times purification, with a rated membrane life of 5 to 8 years. The module uses a conductive diversion network reaching an intrinsically safe explosion-proof level, and the substrate, functional layer and sealant are modified for swelling resistance.
On site, the membrane works in a gradient coupling process of compression, condensation, membrane separation and adsorption: the membrane enriches about 90 percent of the organic gas, condensation recovers about 75 percent, and power use is around 70 percent of traditional absorption or cryogenic routes. At 600 Nm3 per hour, membrane gradient coupling reports 95 percent recovery with stable compliance.
Proven cases include a dichloromethane tail-gas unit at 1000 Nm3 per hour with exhaust below 45 mg per cubic meter and over 95 percent recovery, and a petrochemical storage unit for mixed aromatics and naphtha at 300 Nm3 per hour. The membrane serves oil and gas recovery in storage, transport and refining, VOCs recycling in chemical and pharmaceutical plants, and organic monomer and light hydrocarbon recovery.
Jiangsu LongMembrane was founded in 2020 and works with the Membrane Science and Technology Research Institute of Nanjing Tech University. The company has delivered more than 350 membrane engineering projects, including its first domestic membrane VOCs recovery demonstration unit in 2014 and its first membrane dichloromethane recovery unit in 2017.
